A 33-year-old Grand Bend man is facing charges after allegedly interacting with an undercover officer on an online chat site.
Jason Rich was arrested Friday following a two-week investigation and is facing two counts of Internet luring and two counts of invitation to sexual touching.
OPP allege the accused was on an Internet chat site in June when he communicated with an undercover Sault Ste. Marie police officer for "sexual purposes."
The OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit then continued the investigation and along with the OPP Technical Crime Unit and Lambton OPP executed a search warrant at a Grand Bend home on Friday.
As a result, four computer devices were seized and police say they are pending forensic analysis.
Rich was being held in custody pending a bail hearing in Sarnia on Friday.
The OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit says the investigation is ongoing and they are asking the public to contact them at 705-330-3240 if they have had any dealing with a person online using the pseudonym JSLICE893.
