London woman was rescued late Monday morning after spending two days trapped in her garage.

Fire department officials say the disabled woman was using a lift to enter her vehicle when it malfunctioned.

She had a cellphone, but was unable to reach it.

A friend became concerned Monday after not hearing from her in two days and went to the home to check on her.

Emergency crews were called to the Devos Drive residence and were able to free her.

She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
