Fatal crash near Mount Forest, Ont.

OPP in Southgate Township are reporting a fatal crash about 10 minutes north east of Mount Forest.
According to a press release issued by Grey Bruce OPP, at approximately 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, OPP, paramedics and fire crews responded to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicycle on Southgate Sideroad 49, in Southgate Township, Ont.
Police say that despite lifesaving efforts, the cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Their identity is being withheld pending next of kin notifications.
Southgate Sideroad 49 was closed between Southgate Township Road 8 and Southgate Road 10 for several hours while police investigated, but has re-opened.
No other details are available at this time and police say updates will be provided when they become available.
Grey Bruce OPP and the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team continue to investigate.
