A collision involving a tractor trailer on Monday morning closed the eastbound Highway 401 for several hours.
The collision took place between Pigram Line and Culloden Road shortly before 8 a.m. when a tractor trailer jackknifed and struck the median.
Oxford COunty OPP say minor injuries were reported.
Police were diverting traffic as crews cleared debris from eastbound and westbound lanes and cleaned up a diesel fuel spill. All lanes have since reopened.
An investigation into the cause of the collision continues and police say charges are pending.
Snow squall watch issued
Environment Canada issued a severe weather bulletin for parts of southwestern Ontario on Monday morning.
A snow squall watch is in effect for London, Parkhill, eastern Middlesex County, Woodstock, Tillsonburg, Oxford County, as well as Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce County.
Forecasters say lake-effect flurries have developed off southern Lake Huron that could bring snowfall amounts of 10 centimetres along with very poor visibility Monday evening and into Tuesday.
The fact that the water is partially ice-covered will keep snowfall amounts lower, but some areas could still see up to 15 centimetres locally.
