Three people are facing a slew of charges, following a drug bust in Sparta.
Elgin County OPP officers executed a search warrant on Tuesday at a residence on Sparta Line, near Smith Street in Central Elgin.
Police seized hydromorphone pills, Percocet pills, psilocybin, and processed marijuana. The estimated value of the drugs is pegged at $2,775.
Officers also seized a variety of weapons, including shotguns and rifles, as well as stolen property.
Aaron Jason Watson, 26, and Leah Kathleen Singer, 22, of Sparta are charged with:
- Possession of a firearm obtained by a crime.
- Possession of a schedule two substance under 3 kg for the purpose of trafficking.
- Two counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of a schedule three substance for the purpose of trafficking.
- Possession of a schedule one substance.
- Four counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
- Three counts of property obtained by a crime.
Mark Samuel Canaran, 28, of St. Thomas is charged with possession of a schedule two substance under 3 kg.
The investigation is ongoing.
