Perth County OPP are investigating after 60 live chickens were reported stolen from a barn on Perth-Oxford Road east of Tavistock.
Police say the 60 live Barred Rock hens and roosters were allegedly stolen sometime during the early hours of Sept. 22.
Most of the chickens are described as having a dark salt and pepper colouring, and each weighed between six and eight pounds.
The chickens are valued at approximately $650.
