London police say a suspect has been identified after a woman allegedly left a beauty salon without paying for eight hours of work done on her hair.

Officers say the power of social media helped identify the suspect.

After eight hours of work, “Sharon” told salon employees she wanted a cigarette.

She left the salon with her purse, still wearing the hairdresser’s cape, and headed northbound on Wellington and did not return.
