Police are investigating after the discovery of a man's body in the 200 block of Kathleen Avenue in Sarnia early Friday morning.

EMS and Sarnia police were called to the scene around 5:30 a.m. after a passerby found the man lying in the roadway of the residential street.

Officials say the 55-year-old Sarnia man was pronounced dead at the scene, and Kathleen Avenue was blocked off for several hours for an investigation.
