OPP have identified the driver killed in a single vehicle crash on Keg Lane east of Puttown Road in the County of Brant at approximately 4p.m. on Tuesday.
OPP members along with County of Brant Fire and Ambulance service were both present at the scene.
Police investigation determined that a black 2010 Chevrolet Malibu had been travelling on Keg Lane when it left the roadway entering a deep ditch.
The 49-year old male driver has been identified as Frederick Quast of the County of Brant. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
