Members of the Ontario Nurses Association held an information picket Friday outside the London Health Sciences Centre.
The union is protesting hospital cuts across the province.
Members were handing out flyers at the corner of Wellington Road and Commissioners Road, going on the roadway to give the pamphlet to drivers stopped at the traffic light.
The ONA says the province has cut more than 2.8 million hours of registered nurse care since 2015 and that the cuts at LHSC include the elimination of more than 140 RN positions.
The flyer also notes that hundreds of LHSC registered nurses have said they have not been able to maintain College of Nurses standards and hospital policies due to inadequate and inappropriate staffing.
