A fire on Brock Street in Woodstock caused thousands of dollars in damage to a home and forced neighbours to evacuate Saturday night.
Fire officials are now investigating the blaze, that took about an hour to get under control.
Police say the call came in around 11 p.m. when a passerby called 911, saying he could see smoke coming from the back of the house. Neighbours had to be evacuated.
The homeowner was not present at the time of the blaze.
