About 200,000 customers across Ontario are without power, including east of Woodstock and in Huron and Perth counties, as crews try to repair the damage caused by the worst ice storm since 1998.

About 90,000 in southern Ontario's small towns and rural areas are dealing with no electricity. You can find a map here that is regularly updated.

The communities of Listowel, Beachville and Clinton will be without power Monday night into Tuesday.

Hydro One spokesperson Tiziana Baccega Rosa says the numbers are constantly changing as the day goes on since icy tree limbs are still coming down on power lines.

She says it could be days before everyone has their power back and the utility is warning people to be prepared for an extended outage.

The repairs have prompted road closures in a number of areas, including in Stratford, where Short Street from O'Loane Avenue to Matilda Street was closed to through traffic for Hydro One repairs.

In Oxford County, Blandford-Blenheim is one of the areas hardest hit.

Nancy Dennis, who works for Roslin Enterprises in Princeton, says they arrived at work to find no electricity.

The company recycles cooking oil from restaurants to filter and sell to the bio-diesel industry.

“We hear the restaurants are really busy this time of year with Christmas, so we really need to get our stuff out,” she says.

"I came in with four layers of clothes just so I could do the little bit of work that I can get done today, without hydro."

Gas stations, businesses and homes along Highway 2 were hit hard.

In Huron-Perth, Listowel and an area from Monkton to Palmerston also suffeed damage, largely from fallen branches and trees covered in ice.

The Perth East Recreation Complex in Milverton remains available as a warming centre for nearby residents who will have to remain without power another night.

However, the Perth East Public Library is closed due to the power outage.
