Damage from Thursday's industrial fire at Weathertech Restoration and London Caulking is now much higher than initially estimated.

Thames Centre Fire Chief Randy Kalan says the damage is now estimated at $4.5 million.

Officials still don't know the cause of the fire and won't until spot fires are completely out.

The industrial blaze started around 2 a.m. and by the time firefighters arrived, the building of almost 45,000 sq. ft. was almost fully involved.

The building was destroyed after much of the structure collapsed.

The company told its 50 employees late Thursday that they have relocated and there will be no disruption to business operations.
