White Oaks Mall will re-open with regular operating hours on Sunday, January 27 at 12 p.m. All water service has been restored to White Oaks Mall.
The water main break that had caused the mall’s closure has been repaired. Water system maintenance ed will be completed on Saturday.
The break was identified early Saturday morning.
Water service to the mall first was limited and eventually stopped. An excavation crew began work to located the fault in the main and make the necessary repairs to restore service to the Mall and its tenants. The water line for the mall will be flushed to ensure water quality.
Walmart has a separate water supply and was not affected by the disruption.
