A 50-year-old Owen Sound woman faces charges of assault with a weapon after a heated dispute with her neighbours.
Owen Sound police say the woman’s neighbours spoke to her about dumping garbage and food out her window. The woman, who police say had been drinking, decided to spray Raid towards the entrance of the neighbour’s apartment.
When the neighbour opened her door to see what the noise was, the woman ignited the spray with a lighter and directed the makeshift flamethrower at the neighbor, say police.
The neighbour retreated into the apartment unharmed.
The woman was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, breach of probation, and breach of an officer in charge undertaking.
