Provincial police say a 32-year-old man was killed when his pickup truck hit a tree Tuesday morning in Perth County.
The deceased male has been identified by police as Jonathon Lucas of the Municipality of West Perth.
Perth County OPP were dispatched to the collision on Perth Road 121 south of Millbank shortly before 6:15 a.m.
Initial investigation revealed that a pickup truck had been travelling south bound on Perth Road 121 when it crossed the north bound lane and entered the east ditch where it struck a tree. The lone male occupant of the truck was determined to be dead.
Perth Road 121 between Line 61 and Line 67 has been closed by police. Motorists are requested to avoid the area and take alternate routes to by-pass the road closure.
The road is expected to remain closed until approximately 12 p.m.
