London police are investigating two suspcious fires that broke out early Monday morning and caused almost $300,000 in damage.
Police believe the first one, in a business parking lot near Wonderland Road and Sarnia Road, was intentionally set.
Just before 2:30 a.m., a citizen called in a fire in the parking lot and London firefighters found a school bus and a transport truck engulfed in flames when they arrived.
The damage estimate in that fire is $250,000.
The next call came in at 4:45 a.m. about a fire a St. Thomas More elementary school, at 18 Wychwood Park, which is close to the first fire.
A construction trailer was in flames. Damage to this trailer is estimated to be $25,000.
Cst. Chris Stumpf sasy that public shouldn't be alarmed there is a firebug out there.
"At this point there is no cause for concern. The investigation is still ongoing."
