A search of a St. Thomas home netted police $17,000 in marijuana and several prohibited weapons.
Following an investigation, St. Thomas police searched a home on Wilson Avenue around 6 p.m. Thursday and allegedly found a small marijuana grow op.
Three prohibited weapons as well as over $17,000 in dry marijuana and plants were seized.
As a result, 45-year-old Randy Valliere of St. Thomas has been charged with three counts of possession of prohibited weapon, production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He was held pending a bail hearing.
