A London couple whose newly renovated basement was filled with seven feet of water this week, got some good news Thursday.
Sarah Van De Vooren and Derrick Kersey have received word that their insurance company will be granting coverage for the damage.
The company reportedly reviewed their situation and told the couple the $30,000 in damage will be covered.
The basement of the couple's Wellington Road home filled with water during Tuesday morning's intense storm.
It was the second time in two years the home has been flooded.
The couple still has not heard from the city if anything will be done to ease the storm surge that led to the flooding.
