Lambton OPP say a 42-year-old man from Brooke-Alvinston has died after a snowmobile crash early Friday morning.
Police say it took place around 1 a.m. just off a trail in Brooke-Alvinston.
The driver of the snowmobile was pronounced dead at that scene.
Police say as a result of the collision, he was ejected and subsequently the snowmobile caught fire.
The investigation is still in the early stages. Police say no further information will be released until after a scheduled post-mortem.
