A 78-year-old man has been charged following an alleged incident during a camping trip dating back 40 years.
Sarnia police have charged Joseph Albert Firlotte with indecent assault on a female.
They say a female reported that she was sexually assaulted while on a camping trip in Lambton County in 1977.
Police began the investigation last month.
Firlotte is to appear in court on August 8.
No other details have been provided by police.
