A Sarnia man arrested by police near Espanola with nearly 60 kilograms of marijuana has been sentenced to 41 months for possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police also seized more than $10,000 in cash when 45-year-old Ronald James Fraser was arrested last August 25th.
Police say a Sudbury court gave Fraser credit for five months time-served and will have to serve a further 36 months in custody.
Fraser's co-accused -- 42-year-old William Gonyou of Sarnia -- is awaiting a preliminary hearing which is scheduled for October in Sudbury.
