Provincial police have arrested and charged a member of the RCMP following a ten month investigation.
John Kowalczyk, 59, of London is facing one count of breach of trust and one count of obstruction of justice.
The RCMP reportedly contacted the OPP in July 2012 in connection with the activity of one of their officers.
Following a lengthy investigation, Kowalczyk was arrested and charged on Thursday.
He is scheduled to appear in a London court on May 9.
