Gas line repaired after being struck in London

Some businesses in east London have reopened after a gas line was struck.

Crews are on scene in the area of Highbury Avenue and Oxford Street after an excavator struck the line Monday morning.

No injuries were reported. 

Oxford Street was closed for the investigation but reopened to traffic around 10:30 a.m.

Canada Post stamps just got more expensive

Canada Post is raising the price of stamps, starting today. Stamps purchased in a booklet, coil or pane will cost 25 cents more at $1.24 per stamp. The price of a single domestic stamp is now $1.44, up from $1.15.
