Flurries and cold temperatures in store for this week

Flurries and temperatures slightly below normal bring us into the new week in the London area.

The wind chill continues to be a factor, making it feel like minus 13 by Monday afternoon.

The sun only making some brief appearances Tuesday and into mid week as flurries move through the region up until the weekend.

Temperatures this time of year are typically around minus 2 during the day and minus 10 overnight.

 

Here's a look at the rest of the forecast

Monday: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of flurries. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50. Temperature falling to minus 5 this afternoon. Wind chill near minus 13.

Monday Night: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of flurries. Wind west 20 km/h gusting to 40. Low minus 11. Wind chill minus 12 this evening and minus 19 overnight.

Tuesday: Mainly cloudy with 40 per cent chance of flurries. Wind west 20 km/h gusting to 40. High minus 7. Wind chill minus 21 in the morning and minus 16 in the afternoon.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and cloud with 60 per cent chance of flurries. High minus 5.

Thursday: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of flurries. High minus 3.

Friday: Cloudy. High minus 1.

Saturday: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers. High plus 1.

Canada Post stamps just got more expensive

Canada Post is raising the price of stamps, starting today. Stamps purchased in a booklet, coil or pane will cost 25 cents more at $1.24 per stamp. The price of a single domestic stamp is now $1.44, up from $1.15.
