An elderly female was pushed to the ground during a violent home invasion robbery in Strathroy Thursday night.
Strathroy police say it happened just after 10 p.m. on Thomas Street.
They say an elderly couple answered the door and a man brandishing a weapon pushed his way in. The man demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount.
Police say the couple was not injured during the invasion.
London police responded with a K-9 unit but were unable to track the suspect.
He is described as white, in his 20s, about 5-foot-10 to 5-foot 11 with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie and may have been wearing a hat.
