Officers are investigating following a reported stabbing at 760 Viscount Road early Thursday afternoon.
London police were called to a three-story apartment building shortly before1 p.m. following reports that a person had been stabbed.
A male at the scene tells CTV News that he tried to intervene after a man stabbed a woman, but the man involved attempted to stab him as well. Police have not confirmed that information.
However, police say a woman suffering from a stab wound was discovered inside a third floor apartment. Her injuries are said to be serious.
There are also reports that the man involved in the incident fell from the window of the third-floor apartment. His condition is not known.
London police Const. Ken Steeves says "When we arrived he was here and had sustained injuries as a result of the fall and both of them have been transported to hospital."
A window on the third floor has what appears to be blood on the outside and there are broken branches from a tree on the ground below the window.
Information on the identities and the relationship of the two people involved has not been released.
Steeves adds "We're speaking to anyone who may have any information in relation to this incident, whether it be eyewitness or if they have information otherwise."
