Pedestrian dies of injuries sustained in Dec. 9 collision

A collision between a vehicle and pedestrian at the intersection of Adelaide Street north and Huron Street on Dec. 9 has proved fatal.

That evening, at around 8 p.m., emergency responders were on the scene and transported the pedestrian to hospital. The driver involved remained at the scene.

That pedestrian, now identified by London police as Sachina Shrestha, 21, of London, has since died as a result of her injuries.

Police continue to appeal to members of the public that may have been in the area that evening and may have dash-cam, residential or business surveillance to contact London Police Service.
