A four-vehicle crash in London's east end left a mess resembling a movie crash scene.

It happened at the intersection of Clarke Road and Dundas Street just before 10 a.m. on Friday.

Police say an elderly driver experienced a medical incident and drove his car from the Argyle Mall over sidewalks to a strip mall across the street.

In all four vehicles were struck, with each suffering severe damage, though many were empty at the time.

One person was taken to hospital as a result of the collision.
