Oxford County OPP have released the names of a man killed and a man charged in two separate crashes in the Tillsonburg area on Thursday.
Clifford Dietz, 49, of Tillsonburg, was killed when the van he was driving was involved in a head-on crash with a Jeep on County Road 13 near Ninth Road, northeast of town.
Seven other adults in the two vehicles were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say an investigation into the collision continues.
Meanwhile, 88-year-old Robert Simpson of Tillsonburg has been charged with failing to yield after a crash in the downtown area.
Two vehicles and a tractor-trailer were involved in that collision which saw cars crash onto the sidewalk and into a storefront.
