Driving conditions were tricky Thursday morning as many people in London and Middlesex County woke up to snow and winter-like weather.

The City of London's salt trucks were out at 2 a.m., but that didn't stop mishaps on the roads, despite warning from both the city and provincial police.

Middlesex County OPP were reminding motorists to drive with extra caution due to challenging road conditions.

Still, numerous crashes were reported on many area roads Thursday morning.

Environment Canada was calling for a high of just 2 C Thursday, with flurries in the morning and the possibility of showers or wet flurries in the afternoon, then a low of -4 C overnight.

It will be sunny with a high of 6 C Friday and there are even better temperatures on the way, with temperatures Saturday expected to climb to 13 C with mainly sunny skies.
