Two people have been charged after police officers were allegedly assaulted Sunday evening in London and suffered minor injuries.
Police say they were called to Lovett Street about 6:30 p.m. and found an intoxicated man, who was under conditions not to consume alcohol.
They say as they placed him under arrest, the man began to swing his fists at officers. A woman and two youth also got involved in the altercation.
More officers had to be called to the scene.
Charged with breach of recognizance, resisting arrest and assaulting police is Cory Chrisjohn, 23, of London.
Samantha Elijah, 42, of London, is charged with obstructing police and resisting arrest.
