Many cyclists in the Forest City agree that there are ways city hall could make London more bike friendly.

One downtown law firm is taking it upon itself to encourage their employees and clients to get cycling.

Judith Hull and Associates is serious about encouraging a bicycle friendly workplace.

"We have Western University on one end and the downtown core on the other end, and its a heavily populated area. If we attract cyclists, we can reduce the congestion and make it that much healthier," says Kevin Labonte, social media manager for the firm.

The firm recently started a campaign to get more Richmond Row businesses on board, either by making it easier for their employees to bike to work or offering an incentive for customers to do so.

They are also introducing bike racks in its office, as better parking options are one thing that would help encourage Londoners to hop on their bikes.

"If there was more space for cyclists more dedicated bike lanes people would feel safer, they would be more likely to bike. If they had secure bike parking and if places had showers for their employees more people would bike too," says Ryan Craven with advocacy group Our Street London.

"It would generally be much better for small businesses downtown. It would be safer, with less traffic and I think it would make downtown more vibrant," adds Craven.
