The City of London and City of Windsor are submitting a joint bid for the 2019 World Junior Hockey Tournament.
Applicants have until August 31 to submit their proposal before Hockey Canada chooses a host.
That will be announced sometime before December of 2016.
Montreal and Toronto will jointly host the 2016 tournament.
Buffalo will play host in 2017.
Play would start at Budweiser Gardens and Windsor's WFCU Centre on Boxing Day 2018.
