London's beleaguered mayor says he's planning to run again for the city's top job in 2014.
Joe Fontana made the remarks in a story that ran in the National Post.
"I've always said that I wouldn't leave until I've completed why I ran in the first place. So, I like the job, why wouldn't I run?" queried Fontana to the National Post.
But the road back to the mayoralty may be a difficult one.
Fontana continues to face several personal and political issues.
Last November, Fontana was charged by the RCMP with fraud, breach of trust by a public official and uttering forged documents.
The charges were connected to allegations that he misused public money to help pay for his son's 2005 wedding reception.
This allegedly occurred when Fontana was the federal Labour Minister.
Meanwhile, Fontana and six fellow councillors are facing a probe by the provincial Ombudsman over a February meeting at Billy T's Tap and Grill.
All participants of the meeting claim city business was not discussed.
This past April, the Canada Revenue Agency pulled the charitable status of Trinity Global Support Foundation.
Fontana previously served as the chair of Trinity while his son was the president.
Trinity issued $152 million in tax receipts in 2012, in 2008, that figure was $72,000.
