A low-pressure system is set to arrive in the region Friday, bringing with it showers and the chance of mixed precipitation.
According to CTV News Meteorologist Julie Atchison, periods of rain will begin in the morning, picking up after 9 a.m. Friday with a high of plus 5C.
"There is a risk for a bit of mixing precipitation north of London, however I am expecting the warm air to take over quite quickly.... It will continue into Saturday morning but by Saturday afternoon, conditions will improve."
Early into next week, Atchison said we can expect a mix of sun and cloud and a bit of a dip in the temperature as we move through the first week of December.

Friday: Cloudy. Periods of rain beginning this morning. Temperature steady near plus 5.
Friday Night: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of rain or drizzle this evening and after midnight. Periods of rain beginning after midnight. Fog patches developing this evening. Low plus 2.
Saturday: Periods of rain ending in the morning then cloudy. Fog patches dissipating in the morning. High 6.
Sunday: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers. High plus 5.
Monday: A mix of sun and cloud. High plus 3.
Tuesday: A mix of sun and cloud with 30 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries. High zero.
Wednesday: A mix of sun and cloud. High zero.
