Provincial police have released the identity of an elderly woman killed in a collision just west of London Saturday afternoon.
Around 1:05 p.m. emergency crews responded to a three vehicle collision at the intersection of Egremont Drive and Vanneck Road.
Police say a grey GMC pickup truck collided with a red Dodge car in the intersection which has traffic lights. The Dodge then collided with a Honda on Egremont Drive.
The 81-year-old female driver of the Honda was pronounced dead on scene. She has been identified as Marion Satchwill of Srathroy-Caradoc.
Three occupants from the Dodge car were all taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 19-year-old male is listed in fair condition while second 19-year-old male and a 16-year-old female are listed in good condition.
A 46-year-old male and two young children in the GMC pickup did not need to go to hospital.
The collision on Saturday was one of two fatal collisions that Middlesex OPP investigated over the weekend.
Police say a driver was killed Sunday when a Chevrolet travelling southbound on Centre Road left the roadway and rolled down an embankment into the Ausable River.
