Two men were taken to hospital in very serious condition Monday morning to be treated for symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Perth County OPP say the men were found around 8 a.m., unconscious, on the floor of Ontario Steel Solutions, a welding shop in Mitchell.
Another four people were also treated on site at the Arthur Street business, but their condition is not known.
The two men were transported to hospital in Stratford for treatment and are listed in ciritical condition.
One of the men is expected to be airlifted to another hospital for additional treatment.
Perth County East Fire Chief Bill Hunter says they are investigating a natural gas boiler that has some issues.
The Ministry of Labour has also been called in to investigate.
It's unclear if the business had working carbon monoxide alarms in the building.
