More snow coming Friday with cold temperatures expected
More snow is headed our way.
According to CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison, a low-pressure system is moving through a cold front, bringing with it some snow Friday afternoon.
“The main accumulation will be Friday night and early Saturday morning before the system exits off to the east,” said Atchison. “In terms of snowfall amounts in the London area, we could see upwards of 5 to 6 centimeters.”
In midwestern Ontario, anywhere from 5 to 10 cm is expected. Bruce Peninsula, Sauble Beach and Tobermory are under a snow squall watch Friday morning.
Heading into the weekend, Atchison said some flurries are expected Saturday, but overall it’ll be a nice weekend to be outdoors.
