St. Thomas police say it could have been a lot worse after a driver slammed into the front of the VON Community Support Services office.
Police responded to the building on South Edgeware Road around 1 p.m. Thursday after a car crashed into a window.
A vehicle driven by 19-year-old female driver from Aylmer, who only has her G1 licence, reportedly smashed into the building.
Police say it appears the driver was attempting to pull into a parking space and accelerated instead of braking, and inexperience is believed to be factor in the crash.
There were no injuries and no charges were laid.
