A rookie Huron OPP officer has been charged with a highway traffic violation after a police cruiser struck a parked vehicle Tuesday morning.
Police say the officer had completed a traffic investigation and was making a turn on Cardiff Road in Huron East when the incident happened.
The officer has been charged with start from a stopped position – not in safety.
There was minor damage to both vehicles, but no injuries reported.
