The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Warning for the Harriston area.
Almost 35 mm of rain fell on the Harriston watershed Saturday night, elevating water levels significantly.
If there is no additional rain Sunday morning, water levels in Harriston are expected to stop rising by the afternoon.
An additional 25 mm of rain is in the forecast for the next two days.
The Conservation Authority will provide an update before 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
