TORONTO -- Premier Kathleen Wynne is providing details about a youth employment program ahead of a Thursday byelection.
She made the announcement in Toronto's east end, near a riding that's up for grabs.
Wynne says the fund, which was announced in the spring budget, will start in September.
She says the province will provide up to $7,800 for each eligible youth, including $6,800 to help employers cover wages and training.
It also includes up to $1,000 to help youth pay for costs like tools and transportation to work.
