STPS searching for two theft suspects

The St. Thomas Police Service is looking for two suspects in two separate thefts that took place over the weekend.

On Sunday night, police received reports of a theft of an Amazon package from a home on Hinks Street.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a plaid jacket.

Anyone with video surveillance of the area around 5:30 a.m. is asked to contact police at 519-631-1224.

In another incident, police said a woman entered a grocery store on Talbot Street. She allegedly took $300 to $500 worth of merchandise, leaving without paying.

She is said to have been wearing a red jacket and black pants, riding away on a bicycle.

Police did not release the date the incident took place. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
