An employee at a wind turbine site in Bosanquet Township, southwest of Port Franks, has been seriously injured while on the job.
Lambton County OPP and EMS were called to the construction site on Ravenswood Line around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say it appears an employee fell to the ground from an elevated height while working inside a turbine shaft.
He was treated at the scene before being airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers secured the site until the arrival of an Occupational Health and Safety Investigator who began an investigation for the Ministry of Labour.
