Middlesex County OPP say an 83-year-old woman remains in critical condition following a serious crash north of Strathroy on Thursday.
Barbara Stone of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan had to be extricated from her car and airlifted to hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries in the three-vehicle collision.
Her husband Charles Stone, 84, who was a passenger in the car had suffered serious injuries but has since been released from hospital.
The drivers of the trucks were treated for minor injuries at the Strathroy hospital and released.
Police were called to Centre Road just north of Highway 402 around 2 p.m. on Thursday for a crash involving a car, dump truck and water tanker truck.
Investigators say a black Chrysler 300 from Michigan was exiting the eastbound Highway 402 and as it entered Centre Road it collided with a southbound dump truck.
A northbound water tanker was then involved in the collision.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
