Employees of a Wingham radio station are sharing a $1 million windfall after hitting a Max Millions prize.

Workers at CKNX gathered Tuesday to discuss the jackpot.

The winning ticket is from the Jan. 6 Lotto Max draw.

The 27-member group has been buying tickets for over nine years.

Each member will receive just over $37,000.

“It’s not life-changing money…but it’s a nice little bump,” says employee Nick Sawicki.

Dan Bieman has been running the pool for the past decade.

“Anybody that’s been in it as long as I have has probably sunk in about $1,000, but it’s all worth it now,” he says.

“To share it with these fine people here is very special to me.”
