London police say two men have been charged in connection with an assault last month that left a man unconscious in the city's south end.
Officers were called to a housing complex at 337 Southdale Road East around 6:30 a.m. on July 15th and found a man in critical condition.
The man, 63-year-old Michael Barnhart, was transported to hospital and remains there in stable condition.
Police say an investigation has found the man had actually been assaulted almost seven hours earlier, late July 14th.
On Monday, police arrested two London men in connection with the assault.
Timothy Scott Rex, 41, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault.
Christopher Charles Rex, 59, is facing one count of being an accessory after the fact to the offence of aggravated assault.
Both men are being held pending a court appearance on Tuesday.
Police are thanking the public for their tips and information, which they say helped the investigation.
