The face of education could soon be changing in London, with the fate of Lorne Avenue Public School, Sir George Ross Secondary and Thames Secondary set to be decided.
The Thames Valley District School Board is meeting Tuesday night to continue the work of the Accomodation Review process.
There has been a lot of emotional response to the plans for the three schools.
Members of the Lorne Avenue school community were on hand to rally for their school Tuesday afternoon - what they call the heart of Old East.
Meanwhile families from the two high schools up for possible closure were also holding their breath.
Students at Sir George Ross Secondary say the technical school gives them the best chance they have at forging out a career.
Ross and Thames Secondary - also a vocational school- were both recommended for closure. Under the plan students and programs would be transferred to Saunders, Montcalm, or Clarke Road.
School board administrators say the changes are necessary to address declining enrollment.
Lorne Avenue is also a casualty of low population, but parents have argued the community is on the upswing.
