Three arrested in Thamesville drug bust

Lambton County OPP have made two arrests following an ongoing drug investigation.

On Jan. 2 just after midnight, police stopped a vehicle on Victoria Road in Thamesville in connection to the investigation.

A quantity of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, carfentanyl and other offence-related property was seized. The estimated value of drugs seized is $27,700.

As a result, a 39-year-old Wallaceburg woman, 37-year-old Wallaceburg woman and 33-year-old Wallaceburg man are all facing charges.

All three accused have been charged with possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl and possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine.
